Our Approach
Unlocking impact capital at speed and scale is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Yet, impact aligned business and investors face persistent challenges—including capacity constraints, limited public funding, fragmented coordination, and the long complex nature of financial transactions. To support impact capital mobilization efforts, II Kenya is working with partners to adopt a modular approach that identifies viable impact investment opportunities and support priorities to co-design appropriate investment vehicles and support programs. Through this approach, we hope to channel access to available technical and financial assistance towards various readiness, feasibility and preparatory programmes that catalyse impact investments in Kenya and East Africa..
