About Us

Impact Investing Kenya  is a unique multisectoral platform  with a mission  to catalyze and accelerate the growth of impact investing in Kenya by mobilizing private sector capital towards measurable, sustainable, and inclusive economic, social, and environmental outcomes. We envision Kenya as a premier hub for impact investing, driving transformative investments that significantly contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering inclusive prosperity, and environmental sustainability

Established as an alliance of philanthropy and private sector networks in Kenya, our goal is to mobilise private sector investments towards SDG financing and social enterprise. By bridging the gap between philanthropy and capital markets, we aim to foster effective and sustainable  finance solutions that deliver both impact and long term financial sustainability.

With impact at the center of our work, we are nurturing the impact investment ecosystem in Kenya by coordinating efforts of diverse actors and influencing  policy incentives that attract investments and support the flow of capital to where it is most needed. We harness the collective power of  our networks and partners  to scale impact investments from foreign and domestic capital providers through research,  knowledge and market insights.

As a National Partner to the Global Steering Group on Impact Investing -GSG Impact, We are part of a global movement that is working  to transform financial systems for the benefit of people and the planet. Working within a globalised financial system, we aim to influence the global sustainable finance agenda and work in partnership with diverse development partners to bring about transformative change within our communities.

Real People. Real Impact.

WCK’s work is guided by our belief that food is a universal human right. Both in the communities we serve and in our daily workspace, we uphold and rely on our values to direct us toward fulfilling our shared purpose.

Without peace, development gains do not hold. Without peace, delivering humanitarian aid risks further suffering. Without peace, people have more difficulty exercising agency, seizing opportunity, and realizing their full potential
